Wir hatten einen Dacia Duster für drei Wochen inklusive Kleinkind und waren damit am Vulkan sowie im regnerischen und matschigen Teil der Insel. Einen Kindersitz gab es dazu. Er passte zum Alter des Kindes, hatte aber kein Isofix, was die Installation für ungeübte Eltern herausfordernd machen kann. Einen Sitz mit Isofix bereit zu stellen, wäre hier nochmals eine Verbesserung für die Schonung der Nerven der Eltern und die Sicherheit des Kindes. Es kostet auch nicht viel. Bei der Miete an sich war ich erst skeptisch wegen einiger Bewertungen zum Rückgabeprozess. Nur Fotos vom Anfang und vom Ende zu machen und sonst keine persönliche Begutachtung zu haben, kannte ich so noch nicht. Das lässt viel Raum für Komplikationen, und wenn man erst einmal von der Insel weg ist, kann man Probleme nicht mehr vis-à-vis regeln. Wir haben das Auto vor der Rückgabe also ausgesaugt, dreckige Kanten abgewischt und in einer Waschstraße gewaschen. Es wurde ohne Beanstandungen zurückgenommen und die Kaution innerhalb von zwei Stunden freigegeben. Wer nicht selbst saugen will: Den Reinigungsservice unbedingt vorher buchen! Nach Mietbeginn kostet er 45 € statt 25 € – wobei selbst das meiner Meinung nach noch ein fairer Preis wäre. Unterm Strich: Sehr empfehlenswert und sehr faire Konditionen.
